Splish Splash

Here's a little piece of parenting advice for you:
When you leave your children unsupervised in the bathtub...

Not that I have ever done that! No, this is purely a hypothetical piece of advice!

As I was saying...when you leave your child unsupervised in the bathtub, it is a good idea to make sure that the shampoo bottle is out of reach.
Otherwise the once full shampoo bottle might just turn into a tub (and floor) full of bubbles!

And for the record, I had my children pose for these pictures in order to illustrate this entirely hypothetical post. Because as I said before, my children would never be left unattended in the bath.

Right.

Ahem. That has NEVER happened at our house. An entire box of tampons has never ended up in the tub either...

HA!

Who would do that, leave their children. That NEVER happens at our house, that would be silly. LOL @ Cecily!

LOL I'm dying at your photo editing skills with the little present over the private parts. HILARIOUS.

Um, my entire ceiling wasn't sprayed with water "because it needed to be cleaned" either.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that's NEVER left their child alone and walked back in on a bubble fiasco ... hey, at least their clean =)

LOL yes and Ive never had to replace a bottle of conditioner after just one use because it got dumped down the drain either....or cleaned up large amounts of water from the floor, from one side of the bathroom to the other

Oh sure, my boys are never left alone either... which means they have never managed to get half the tub full of water onto my floor from splashing, emptied the body wash bottle onto the floor, put three bars of soap in the bottom of the tub to see what happens, nope! This has never happened. Ever. :oP

My 4 yr old son wants to know if you daughter is naked on my puter screen? Any idea what I should tell him?

I hope no one gets a hold of your daughters photo and doctors it by adding the piece that you so graciously covered with a tiny package and post it else where on the internet

(Ahem)... not that I'd have similar evidence of anything happening in my household... and not because I sat my butt on the floor and blogged so attentively through a bathtime that I wasn't aware that he'd dumped an entire bottle of shampoo into the bathtub until he actually flung bubbles onto the laptop. Ahem... nope.

But look how much fun your girl had!

That's never happened to me either. If it had, I'd probably be relieved that they had chosen that over bailing the water out all over the floor...

Right...my kids have never been left in the tub, either. And they've never played with the soap or shampoo.

Heck, they can even go through a bottle of soap in the bathroom with the sink.

Thanks for the warning and the "illustrations."
