Have you ever wondered...

why baby bananas are pink instead of white?

I find this mildly disturbing...anyone else?

YES!!!! I have totally wondered that!!!!! So gross. But then I would never eat 99% of the stuff that the babies got fed. bleck.

Hmmmmm, that is typically something I would have noticed and I never noticed that when M was an infant.

Ewwwww. I was feeding my daughter the baby Oatmeal last night and almost threw up in my mouth. That stuff looks and smells so nasty, yet she happily munches away on it.

LOL!! Too funny ~ I used to wonder the EXACT thing 30 yrs ago when my kids ate that stuff - must be some really good preservatives??? Yuck!

I'm guessing it's a cross between oxidation and the acidic acid they use to preserve it.

You should see homemade baby bananas, they are quite brown.
