Tonight, I went to my first high school football game in over 10 years. My brother-in-law was covering the game (he is an orthopaedic surgeon), so we took all the kiddos to support the local athletes.
The kids had an absolute blast! It was a bigger hit than I expected it to be.
Emma Jane could not take her eyes off the field. She was so into the game, but being only 2, had difficulty telling the teams apart and therefore cheered for every touchdown!
Libby couldn't sit still and didn't really notice the game itself at all. She was too busy mimicking the cheerleaders to care about football!
Here is Libby in action. After every cheer, the cheerleaders would turn and face the field with their hands on their hips, so of course Libby did the same! Sort of!
