Wildtree Giveaway

My bloggy friend, Amanda from "Popp"ing Out One Letter at a Time gave me the opportunity to review some Wildtree products. To be honest, I had never heard of Wildtree before Amanda started blogging about it, but I am willing to try anything once!

Wildtree was created by a mom looking for healthy, tasty, easy ways to feed her children, both of whom had dietary restrictions. Here is a little info straight from the website:

"Wildtree offers the highest quality herbs, spices and culinary blends that are free of MSG, preservatives, additives, fillers and promote a healthier lifestyle. We believe in the value of making cooking a quicker, easier, more healthful project for those who are short on time, and a fun, interesting adventure for those who wish to be more creative in the kitchen. We offer our representatives the opportunity to earn unlimited income and have a home based business that allows them to live the American Dream."

After learning a little more about the company, I started looking at the food. It all looked so good, I couldn't make a decision about what I wanted to try! So I told Amanda to surprised me and she sent me this: Fiesta Salsa Mix!

I was thrilled because if there is one thing I love almost as much as peanut butter, it is chips and salsa! A can of diced tomatoes + a quarter cup of mix + 1 hour in the fridge = Fiesta Time!

The first time I made it, I used petite diced tomatoes which added a little sweetness to the spicy kick of the mix. I really liked it this way! My kids favorite variation (because I had to play around with this stuff) was regular diced tomatoes and and a small can of drained corn. My hubby, who likes everything hothothot, liked it best when I made it with a can of tomatoes with chopped chiles. Overall, the salsa mix was a big hit and with a little imagination it is also very versatile!

So, am I making your mouth water? Good! Because Amanda has graciously offered one of my readers a Fiesta Salsa Mix! To enter visit the wildtree website and tell me something else that you think looks tasty!

Am I seriously the first commenter? Lucky me. Now if I just WIN it will all be worth it! HeeHee!

Wildtree has lots of cool stuff. I especially love the neat Rice Seasoning blends. The whole wheat pizza crust and infused grapeseed oils were very interesting as well.
